The Friends Group is opento anyone who is interested in becomming involved in the Country Park. Whether it's enviromental work, helping organise or run events or having a say in the development and organisation of the park.

The aims of the organisation are to:

• Represent the local community
• Promote and raise awareness of the country park
• Encourage responsible usage of the park which respects it ecological value
